Day 4 of Kettle Pond Writers Conference continued! I gave my poetry reading alongside the wonderful Kem Joy Ukwu. Then sat out by a fire on the shore of Akwasasne Lake at Paul Smith’s College.
Day 4 of Kettle Pond Writers Conference! A writers walk in nature, featuring the Butterfly Tent, irises along a boardwalk, followed by ice cream! In the morning, I taught my 2nd generative session: goodbye poems and short poems!
Day 3 of Kettle Pond Writers Conference! Hanging on the lake with St. Regis Mountain, and with friends Kia and Damaris, then at night hearing readings by the wonderful Jaclyn Gilbert and the wonderful Deirdre Coyle!
Day 2 of Kettle Pond Writers Conference! I taught my generative workshop with sun poems and apostrophe poems! Then in the evening we had readings by the wonderful Ashley Mayne and the wonderful Chen Chen! In the night, accordion music accompanied by loons on Lower St Regis Lake.
Kettle Pond Writers Conference kicked off with an opening reading by the wonderful fiction writer Michael J. Seidlinger and the wonderful poet Kevin Bertolero!
